Monday again! I think this one is especially hard because we are all still trying to recover from day light savings time.

Breakfast was a large caramel skim latte and a fiber one bar. . . just like this one last week.

The nice thing about having this blog is I can keep tabs on how I have been eating, exercising, and taking care of my body. A quick review of the past week shows me that I haven’t been eating very well! Part of that is life (like Scott’s surprise birthday party) and other parts are my own choices (panda express and cane’s chicken fingers).

Anyway, I know I can do better! This is kind of a hard week because on Wednesday we are leaving for a week-long road trip to Colorado!

As you know, road trips are not always the best for eating healthy. . .

But I have a plan:

We are going to the grocery store to stock up on fresh fruit, yogurt, and sandwich fixings for the car, as well as, healthier snacks (i.e. trail mix, granola bars).

Also, my goal for this week is to have 5 servings of fruits/veggies per day. I think that will really help to make sure that I get back on track with eating healthier. I know that I will feel so much better when I do!
