Casper, not the ghost

Hello from Casper, Wyoming!

This is my first time in Wyoming. Very exiting – well not really. . .

This morning we had breakfast with Peggy, Brian and the girls. Peggy made really yummy biscuits and gravy.

Then, we hit the road for Casper, WY. We had a total of about 7 hours in the car today.

Road Trip Day #5

There are cows,

and mountains,

just like in Colorado!

In the car, we shared an iced caramel skim macchiato, each had our own apple, and some chex mix.

We passed over the continental divide 3 times!

We checked into the Courtyard by Marriott in Casper, and hit up the workout room for an hour run on the treadmills.

It was really nice because each treadmill had its own TV – so Scott and I could watch what we each wanted. I watched the first half of Somethings Gotta Give. It was pretty good – I might have to rent it to see the end!

After we were all showered up, we headed out to check out Casper.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t much to see.

We ended up at Old Chicago.

We shared a side salad.

salad with blue cheese dressing

And I got a sausage, pepperoni and pineapple calzone. Very yummy.

Now that our tummies are full, we are going to lay in bed and watch some TV before bed. Have a good Sunday night!
