My usual caramel skim latte and a banana (+1 fruit!).
The hospital cafeteria had nothing to eat today. No good pre-made salads or sandwiches. My go-to grilled chicken breast was a 5 minute wait – and I was already running late! The salad bar was turned into a taco bar. It was terrible. I think I was able to make the best of it. . . I used the taco bar to have some lettuce, pico de gallo, salsa, pickles, guacamole and a few tortilla chips. (+1 veggie)
The highlight of my lunch was this Kashi bar.
Whole almonds and whole grains – awesome!
I had a quick snack of 2 clementines after work to tide me over through my run. (+1 fruit)
Ran 5 miles. Still slightly chilly at 34 degrees with a wind!
But beautiful skis helped.
The snow is melting!!!
Dinner was leftovers from Wednesday nights Let’s Dish.
I substituted the pasta sauce though, because the sauce from Wednesday night had mushrooms in it. yuck!
Added some cooked carrots because they sounded good. (+1 veggie)
Ravioli + pasta sauce + corn + parmesan cheese = Dinner!
Now off to snuggle on the couch with one of my honey bunnies
– the other one will be home on Sunday!
So, Friday was pretty normal for me. . .nothing exciting. Hopefully more fun things to come this weekend.
