OMG it is like 90 degrees here in MN today. We totally skipped Spring and went right into hot humid Summer!
Our run was so hard! We were both dripping in sweat after a mile and Abby’s tongue was super long! We dropped her off at home (you know, so she wouldn’t die) after about 1 1/2 miles and then did another loop around for a total of 3 miles.
I was pretty tuckered out after our run, but wanted to do another day of Jillian’s 30 Day Shred. I did level 1 again. I like the DVD. It gets you sweaty pretty quickly and it is challenging. You do 6 minutes of strength moves, 2 minutes cardio and 1 minute ab work in each circuit; 3 circuits in each workouts. I am looking forward to checking out level 2 and 3 later this week. Jillian promised to get me ‘shredded’ if I keep up with the DVD! I’ll let you know how it goes.
Breakfast: CSL and fiber one oats and chocolate bar
Lunch: Salad with lettuce, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, radish, turkey chunks, spoonful of macaroni salad, and ranch dressing. And a small banana. And a piece of salt water taffy a co-worker brought back from Maine!
Snack: Kashi granola bar
Dinner: Stuffed chicken breasts: I picked up 2 from Hy-Vee this weekend, one stuffed with pineapple and Canadian bacon, the other with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. Paired with roasted cauliflower and broccoli and garlic toast (made again with Dakota bread from Great Harvest)
Now, Scott keeps asking what’s for dessert, so I better go pay attention to him! Also, time for more Greek! Totally loving that show – don’t judge! Have a great night.
