Is it just me or are there meals that just taste better during summer? And that you only eat during the hot months of the year? There are quite a few meals that we only eat during summertime, as well as a few, that just taste better during the hot, humid days of summer!
So, here is My Summer Dinner List. . . all the meals that are eaten during summer and taste better too!
Smoothies – the more fruit the better! Love them topped with coconut butter and chia seeds.
Salads – fresh lettuce and veggies from the Famer’s market, roasted corn fresh from the cob and topped with grilled anything!
Grilling: Burgers, Brats, Chicken, Steak
BLTs – fresh tomatoes, lettuce, crisp bacon slices – all on toasted white bread – YUM!
Chicken salad – perfect for summertime lunches – served over letttuce, in a sandwich or wrap.
Gazpacho – I have a recipe for mango gazpacho that I am hoping to make this summer!
