150 garage sales in one place. . . OMG it’s River Hills Days again. There is this neighborhood in Eagan that has a whole neighborhood wide garage sale every year the first weekend of June. And that’s what was on the agenda for today.
So, we hopped in the car and took of for the cities.
I made myself a caramel skim latte for the car ride up.
We met up with Laura, who wanted to check out all the garage sales too.
We were pretty excited!
It is huge. . . and they have food! There are a lot of churches and high school sports groups that set up booths with food. The best booth is roasted corn. So good. First corn on the cob of the season.
And we all found some good garage sale finds!
Mine is for Abby!
Then, a quick lunch at Arby’s!
We hit up Scott’s parent’s house to pick up some stuff and his Mom always has some sort of treats hanging around – and no disappointment this time –> puppy chow! One of my favorites.
Then, it was Mall Of America time. A quick stop at Fossil to pick my birthday watch (thanks Mom!).
Abby really liked her garage sale present – a super cute bunny. She wasted no time breaking it in!
After a hot, sweaty 4.5 mile run on the Red Jacket Trail. . . Abby got a quick paw rinse, and we spent time admiring our blooming tree in the front yard.
I also did Level 2 of Shred. . .
Dinner was super quick due to the seasoning I had on hand from Penzeys Spices: Northwoods Fire. I seasoned the chicken breasts with it and Scott grilled it up.
Then, I used some lettuce we picked up from our recent trip to Sam’s Club, carrots, peppers, craisins, and shredded cheese.
Abby was very interested in dinner.
And when dinner was gone, she went on to other things!
Hope you are having a great Saturday!
Did you do anything fun???
